Dear Grandma and Grandpa,

I sure had fun telling you about my outside adventures! But now I need to tell you about my very first birthday!

I had never had a Birthday Party before, so I was a little worried about how to plan it.  Mommy told me not to worry.  She said I only had to remain cute, and I was already good at that!

When April 16th came, all of my friends came to party!  I was so glad my sitter Kelly came to my party!

We started with a piñata, but none of my friends knew how to play!  So Daddy and me showed everyone how to play!

Cole was first and he hit the piñata very hard!

But the real fun started when my friend Grant knocked the piñata to pieces and we all rushed in for candy!

I really did not know much about candy.  At Halloween I did have a sucker with a wrapper on it!  Just then Kelly gave me a sucker with NO wrapper!!!

I am never going back to eating candy with wrappers on them.  From now on its wrappers off or I'm not having it!

My friend Pam told my Mommy and Daddy about a Korean tradition on a child's first birthday! You place a mirror, money, and a book in front of a cutie like me!  If I grab the mirror I will be beautiful and famous!  If I grab the money I will be rich!  If I grab the book I will be super smart!

What did you think I was going to grab the Book!  I am beautiful and I am already kinda famous (I have my own website)!

After that Mommy and Daddy brought out a big, colorful cake!

And then came my very own Birthday Cake with a big number 1 in the middle!  I made a wish and blew out the candle!

I had never had cake before either, so I was a little timid at first!

Let's just say I got the hang of it after a couple bites!  This whole sugar thing is GREAT!

Then Mommy told me I was going to get a bunch of presents!

First, I got a bear named Cuddles from my Aunt Kendra!

Then, I got a Care Bear! I can't believe it this is awesome!

I got a present from my friends Cole and Bryson!

I opened tons of presents!  I got clothes, toys, and more toys!

I looked inside and I discovered I had my very own CAR from my Grandma and Grandpa Campbell!

I looked across the room and I discovered I had my very own playhouse! This is AWESOME!

I didn't want it to end, and I was sad. I asked my Mommy if that was it!

She pulled me into the play house and whispered in my ear!  She said that there was one more gift......

But she said I had to wait eight more months to unwrap it!

For all of you that may not be as quick as me! I am the going to be a BIG SISTER!  But to get a couple of things straight, I AM still the boss, I AM still number 1, I AM going to get the big bedroom, and I AM going to be the coolest big sister ever!

Well, Birthday Parties are great!  I can't wait to turn 2!  See you in my next story "Old McRian on a Farm!"
